I had a great time in January and February in Florida! We showed my art at a new festival in Estero, the always-popular ArtFest Fort Myers, and a pleasant and only slightly rainy Sarasota Festival of the Arts. Careful planning, spacing of booths, wearing of masks, and plenty of hand sanitizer helped everyone feel safe. It shows that a new normal is possible, and we can still get out and enjoy the open air!
After the shows we parked in a friend’s front yard and enjoyed some of Florida’s weather. The rest of the country was experiencing blizzards and crazy cold air, but it was sunny and comfortable where we were.
Eventually we had to return to Michigan. But we had a great time in the south.
