Muted Colors Artwork

Artwork with bright colors is exciting and makes a huge statement. But sometimes what you need is muted colors in your artwork. A subdued color scheme may be just the thing to create a more elegant design. Monochromatic colors—grays, blacks, whites, and possible other soft, subtle colors—also match well with almost any design scheme. These art pieces are worth a look!

My artwork with muted colors include black, white, gray, and earthy brown. Depending on the piece, I might also include slate or a subtle blue.

These color schemes are incredibly versatile. Sometimes they even pick up the reflected color from surrounding pieces.
